Warm and Fabulous

November 1, 2012

As the winter season is slowly creeping up on us, it is important to stay warm, and of course fashionable. I don’t know about you, but I want to look good through snow storms, hurricanes, and rain. If you’re on a low budget, as most college students are, here are five looks that will keep you warm and will not kill your bank account (all under $100).

Rain or snow, this American Apparel rain parka is sure to keep you dry and warm. Although I love it in dark brown, the parka also comes in black, navy, and green in case you’re feeling bold. Try pairing it with a chunky sweater, and a cute scarf. This parka is only $85.00.

For a classy look, try this faux-fur black A-line coat from Forever 21, for only $44.80. This coat is perfect for a nice date or a night out on the town. It’ll be sure to keep you warm and looking chic.

If you’re a cape girl, like I am, you will love this button up navy blue hooded cape from Urban Outfitters for only $89. Personally, I love wearing my cape with my print leggings and my oxford flats.

For a more casual look, try this $69.95, olive parka from H&M. This cozy jacket is perfect for an afternoon stroll through the park or just running errands on the weekend.

And for my personal favorite, this $42.80 toggle coat also from Forever 21. The great thing about this coat is that you can dress it up with a little black dress, or dress it down with leggings and a cozy sweater. Whatever your preference, you can rest assured you’ll be looking great.

Stay warm. Stay chic.
